The ATI CRT-12-5 filing tool is the ideal solution for replacing manual filing tasks, which are often time-consuming and pose a risk of injury to employees.
The tool uses a robust reciprocating drive to efficiently remove casting burrs and edges from metal parts. A key advantage is its integrated compliance, which ensures that the file presses against the workpiece with adjustable force.
This enables the robot to automatically compensate for tolerances in the component or in the path guidance without having to adjust the programming. The cutting force can be controlled pneumatically "on the fly" to achieve the perfect finish. The system is compatible with standard industrial files, which reduces operating costs.
