Motorless & Quiet
Since the tool operates purely pneumatically without a motor, it is extremely quiet and does not generate heat. Ideal for plastics that would melt when exposed to fast-rotating spindles.
Standard blades
Save operating costs: The tool uses the same standard blades (e.g., from Noga or Shaviv) that your employees already use for manual deburring.
Perfect edge alignment
Thanks to its integrated radial and axial mobility, the blade automatically follows the contour of the component. This compensates for tolerances and ensures a uniform chamfer break.

Description

The ATI CDB-8-11 deburring tool (Compliant Deburring Blade) was developed to automate the classic manual deburring process. It is particularly versatile as it does not have its own motor, but functions like a spring-loaded hand tool guided by the robot.

The decisive advantage: the contact pressure is controlled by air pressure. This enables extremely delicate processing ("soft touch"), which is particularly important for sensitive components or soft materials such as plastic. Since no rotational heat is generated, melting of the edges is prevented.

The patented mechanism allows the blade to move both radially (to the side) and axially (up and down). This ensures consistent deburring results even with cast or molded parts that have dimensional deviations.
